We are thrilled to announce our 2025 Charity of the Year! At PJ Morgan Real Estate, one of our core values is to enrich the community we love and live in. Each year, our team rallies behind one incredible organization, dedicating our time, resources, and efforts to make a meaningful impact. 

For 2025, we are excited to support Duet in partnership with Centris Federal Credit Union. They kicked off our fundraising efforts by donating $10,000.  

About Duet  

Duet is Nebraska’s first community-based service program, dedicated to Developing, Uniting, Empowering, and bringing people Together. Their work provides life-changing support, including: 

Our Chili Cook-Off Tradition 

For over a decade, our Charity of the Year has been chosen by the winner of this friendly (but fierce) competition, our annual chili cook-off. Each year, our team members go head-to-head, crafting their best chili recipes while our trusted vendors step in as judges. The champion of the cook-off then works with leadership to select the charity we’ll support for the year.  

This year, our maintenance supervisor, Steve Baio was our Chili Cook-Off winner. Steve’s family has a strong passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, and Duet’s work aligns perfectly with those values. We are excited to learn more about Duet throughout the year and the amazing work that they do. 

Past Charities 

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with incredible nonprofit organizations. Through awareness campaigns, golf tournaments (save the date for Sept 12th, 2025, for this year’s golf tournament), pickleball tournaments (2025 date tba soon), and donation drives, we’ve been able to make a real impact in supporting these amazing organizations.
