Colby Birdsong is the Accounting Controller at PJ Morgan Real Estate. Colby brings a strategic and analytical mindset to the role, backed by an MBA from Bellevue University and ongoing doctoral studies in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. With a passion for improving business operations, Colby enjoys identifying inefficiencies, recognizing opportunities for growth, and implementing meaningful change across teams and departments.

Colby grew up in Oakland, Iowa, and after living in several different places, has always found her way to the Omaha Metro area. She loves the small-town feel of Omaha’s neighborhoods and the city’s dedication to preserving its historical character.

Outside of work, family is Colby’s biggest support system. They’ve encouraged her through every step of her personal and professional journey. With joining PJ Morgan Real Estate, she’s placed more focus on finding that elusive work-life balance so she can be more present with them.  Colby enjoys reading, baking sweet treats, watching Hallmark movies, and cheering on Notre Dame football.
